Sanctuary for dogs
Where I used to live in Thailand, stray dogs are adopted by the people in the area. I have even seen people who go out of their way to buy food specifically to feed the strays.
However not all stray dogs are so lucky. In many other places, they are abused. So when I came across this news item about Kim Coolidge, from Woodford in Essex, who spent thousands of dollars from her own pocket to create a sanctuary for stray dogs, I was really overwhelmed. See how she loves her dogs!

So what is the situation like in your neighborhood? Is there any home for strays? Have you taken in strays and given them a forever home?
