Size matters when you have a limited budget and space.
Larger dogs will eat a lot more food than smaller dogs. They also need extra space at your home to just stretch lol. Not everyone who loves dogs has a lot of extra cash. Not everyone lives in a large house. Some people live in small apartments. So size matters to a certain degree to certain groups. Not a problem at all if you have no budget issue and live in a large home.
This is one of the things we need to consider before we get a pet. It is not only about our personal preference, but we also need to look at if we have the means to support the pet's need and raise them properly.
