Weirdest Thing Your Cat Has Ever Done?
We've had A LOT of cats when I was growing up, and some of them of done really weird things. One cat liked squishing behind the refrigerator and sleeping between the wall and the base. Another cat stole EVERYTHING (pens, medicine bottles, toys, trash, markers, scissors, etc) and hid it under our china cabinet. We only found out after we had moved the cabinet to clean. My current cat hides in our laundry room a lot, and likes to sleep behind the washing machine and or on top of the shelves for the laundry baskets. Also, my friends cat freaks out if you sit on the floor and laugh at the same time. He comes over and smacks you like crazy until you either get up or stop laughing, or both.

So, what's the weirdest thing your cat has done?

RE: Weirdest Thing Your Cat Has Ever Done?
Out of all the cats I've grown up with, the cat I have now has been deemed awkward. Perhaps it's because I'm used to one type of breed (Tabby) and I am now experiencing something extremely different (Russian Blue), but there's something about this cat that makes him do weird things.

OCD - My cat has extreme OCD. After he's done with the litter, he needs to scratch his paw against the side of the litter box, on the glass and even the carpet to ensure that ALL kitty litter is not connected to him in any way. There are times where he walks funny on the carpet to rid of anything that's not fur or natural. Also, if you pet him and ruin his fur, he will lick it back to normal.

Attitude - Most cats are afraid of random objects that they are not familiar with. Whenever I clean, I often times have cats run away from the broom when I'm sweeping or even the vacuum because of the sound. When I'm sweeping, my cat decides to lay down right where I'm cleaning -- or worse, where I've already swept. As for vacuuming, my cat follows the vacuum than run away from it. He thinks it's something to catch... Perhaps it's because he's a large feline and isn't scared of something like that... It's still weird.
