Some pets are not in the ordinary category of pets. For example turkey and geese make very good pets around the compound. One of the advantages of these pets is that they serve other purposes just like mainstream pets. For example, ducks are very effective in weeding. But at the end of the day, the pet owner will have to grapple with the fact that their favourite pet was originally meant for meat and economic gain. They will eventually end in the palate. I am at a loss whether this is a moral or ethical issue or I am just being sentimental.
