Earlier I found a weird looking beetle in the box where I settled the worms. At first I thought it was a small cockroach. It was eating a worm.
After I searched for "mealworm" online, it just looks like the mealworm beetle photos I found.
It says mealworms have 50% protein. I guess it make great food for birds. The worms have very tough skin. Not sure if it will give any digestion problem. The recently molten worms are white and softer.
I couldn't find any silkworm this time, they seem like better feeders from what you have said in other threads.
