Thanks, jen! The new job is working out well. The ekkie has been flying off his cage more often now, that little bugger. I'm beginning to wonder if I should give him his freedom anymore, but instead keep him locked in his cage! The couple days I've had off I've seen/heard him fly off his cage. The first day he flew into the hallway from his open door, then ran away. When I finally got up to look for him, I didn't see him for awhile. I then remembered how enamored he is of himself, looking in mirrors, so I went out to the entryway of our house, and there he was standing in front of the mirrored coat closet! haha
Now today I was in the kitchen and heard a commotion; my bengal came in looking all excited and hyper, then a few moments later I heard little clawed feet skittering on the floor behind her. Here comes the ekkie! I finished what I was doing, then went into the entryway and both the cat and the bird were in there messing around together! LOL!
