Are there any species of pets that terrify you?

I used to be really afraid of dogs a couple of years ago, but luckily I got over that I'm really terrified of any kind of snake, spider or bug. I don't know what is it about them that makes me shiver. I guess it just people and the media around me who always portray them as something strange and scary, my fear of dogs came from the same place. I would probably get over eventually it if I was friends with someone who had a snake or a spider. I'm very slowly working on my fear of bugs, whenever I see a bug in my home I try to catch it and let it outside. The more often I have to do it, the easier it becomes, but if a while passes between bugs I'm back to the beginning. I still can't go anywhere near a spider.
