If you go to a couples house, and give them a fixed female, and a fixed male cat, I would almost bet money that the female bonds more with the man, and the male bonds more with the woman. Has to be in a house with multiple people though. If you have a domesticated, fixed, loving male cat, alone in a mans house, he will certainly bond with a man.
