Baby goats make a great pet !

Goats come in many sizes and colors, from the tiny pygmy goats, to the large Nubian and boer goats. Most goats love human attention, and will easily bond with notonlythe people in the family; but also any other pets, such as dogs or horses.
Goats do not need a lot of space like a horse would, and can actually live happily in a pen in theback yard, as long as they are able to exercise, andhave a warm shelter for when it is cold or wet (goats HATE rain !)
Some towns have pet regulations, so itis important to be sure that they are allowed where you live if you are aresident in a town or city. If you live out of town; then you can usually haveany animal that you want.
Pygmy goats only get the size of a small dog (under 20 lbs), so they are an ideal pet, and will love to follow youaround, and even sit in your lap to be petted.

Goats DO love to play; so when you have a goat, it is important for them to have their own "playground" or they will be bouncing all over the family car ! !
