| I have never bought from their website, only from stores in person. They have a very wide variety of products. And the staff does not seem much for pressuring people into buying things, which is good. Their staff does not seem to be trained at all in pet care though. Sometimes you meet those who are knowledgeable, and some who are not. It seems to be all from personal experience though, nothing from training at the store. They do have good prices and sales though, provided you are a member of their "PetPerks" club I believe it is called. I find it to be a pretty good store to go into for certain products, provided you know what you need and why you need it, and aren't actually looking for any useful guidance on selecting a product. |

4 out of 5 I have bought my fish supplies from their web site, including a 40 gallon SeaClear acrylic fish tank. I couldn't find anywhere that would ship glass tank, and no local shop sells anything bigger than a 20 gallon. So I bought the SeaClear acrylic tank from them. It came with a broken hood just like many reviews on their site had complained. Their customer service is good though. They told me they would send me another hood for my tank. Even they have made a mistake trying to send me another 40 gallon SeaClear tank without extra charge. I noticed it on the shipping list on their web site. After it was corrected because I told them so (I am not greedy), they let me to pick any light fixture/hood of my choice for my tank on their web site. It went well. I got the new light fixture/hood I picked. They have a good selection of supplies for all pets. Price might not be the cheapest, and you have to pay sales tax on the top of shipping if you buy from their web site. |
