Where do your dogs sleep?
I have observed that some dogs are easy to condition to know their sleeping place especially if they have been trained to do so at an early age. But some outgrow this habit and they have to be forced to enter into their kennels to spend the night sometimes in horrible conditions especially when it is raining. How do your dogs spend the night with regard to this?

RE: Where do your dogs sleep?
I treat my dogs as family so 2 of them sleep inside our bedroom. The other 1 is Pipoy, the hyperactive pug, who is confined to a cage. But he sleeps inside the bedroom together with our maids. If Pipoy would learn how to behave then he would be with the other 2 dogs to sleep inside our bedroom. Ever since I had my first dog, we named her Jedi, it was my policy to let her sleep with us because she would be yelping and barking at night, seemingly calling our attention. And when I brought here inside our bedroom on the first night, she was fast asleep as early as 9pm.

RE: Where do your dogs sleep?
Our dog usually sleeps on a small circle mattress we bought just for her. She loves it so much we need to take it wherever we go to. In rare occasions she comes to sleep next to me or my mom, but I think she's at least afraid of me when I'm sleeping since I tend to toss and turn around like a headless chicken when I sleep, haha! It's better for her to sleep on her place since I'm always afraid she'd get crushed under me when I'm sleeping. I don't mind her coming to sleep next to me though - she's a small dog that is easy to cuddle.

Depending on the weather my dog will sleep under the stairs where the floor tiles will cool her. Sometimes she even sleeps in the bathroom. When the weather is cold, she'll sleep on the couch or next to me on the bed. Since she's an indoor dog, she's not allowed to sleep outside. Tick infestation starts that way often.

RE: Where do your dogs sleep?
I received my dog when he was 8 months old.  His previous owner had trained him to sleep in his crate.  I followed the previous owners practice for a long time.  However, I missed having a dog sleep in bed with me at night as my old dog used to ..... I found having a dog in bed with me comforting.  So, I began to allow the new dog to sleep in bed with me.  Unfortunately, the new dog liked to stretch out and take up a lot of bed space.  Now I wish I had kept the practice of sleeping in his crate.

My dog has always like sleeping under a cool place. When she was a puppy, she would crawl under the living room end table and stay there for hours. Now she sleeps under the stairs where the unused TV table is. Our flooring is made up of tiles so it's very useful also for our dogs that you'd find asleep sprawled on their bellies. It's very helpful especially now that's it's summer here.
