My rat terrier has tons of energy. She is always wanting to run or play. You can't get her to sit still for very long before she is going all over the place trying to find something interesting. We have about an acre of land so she has plenty of room to run and dig and she takes full advantage of it. When we go out she's like "I'm going to run around the perimeter of the yard over and over and over!" and then I'll go back inside and she comes to the door and looks in at me like "Aren't you going to watch me run? I'm so good at it!"
And she loves to dig but fortunately her holes aren't too bad because she has a horrible attention span. She'll smell something and start digging a little and then suddenly she goes somewhere else to dig. I swear sometimes I think she has ADD. I don't know if dogs can have that but if the can she would be the poster dog for it. lol
