For all my life, I've had just Tabby's. I've had a Black Tabby, Gray Tabby, Red Tabby and last year, I thought I had a Blue Tabby from the shelter, but they labeled him wrong. Wolfy is not a Blue Tabby and instead, a Russian Blue. We realized the difference when his fur became shinier, his eye color changed to yellow, his behavior had been different from Tabby's in general and how large he had gotten.
Although it was an extreme difference, we're glad that we got him and that the shelter made a mistake. We wouldn't want him any other way. So as of right now, Russian Blue's are my favorite cat breed and Tabby's are a close second.
