Does your dog tell you when it's dinner time?

I think I have the strangest dog I ever met. He never lets us know he's hungry. The dog I had growing up would always knock around her food dish and whine until someone fed her. He doesn't even go running to the bowl when we are filling it. He generally just eats kind of strange for a dog. He will take a few pieces from his dish in the kitchen and eat them in the living room. He does that all day long. I guess he's a snacker. lol
