Should the homeless have pets?

I don't think just being homeless should disqualify you from having a dog, but it should be if you take care of the dog. If the dog is healthy(relatively) and being fed, then let the homeless person have their dog.

A dog can be such a close companion, and really can be your best friend. People that are homeless, are very alone, and to have that type of companionship could make all the difference in their world.
