RE: My dogs hate me on Adderall
I had a horse once that knew I was pregnant before I did. He got very protective and did not want me to ride him. When I did get on him he would walk very gingerly.

Animals can detect things in us and some things can scare them. Your reaction to the Addreall may be that you get into a focused frenzy of sorts. This is a common reaction to the drug.

However, it may frighten your dogs because they are not accustomed to your hyper focus or the 'different' energy that you are giving off.

Our dogs react to our energy. If we have a calm, positive energy then our dogs will tend to have the same and they will be more relaxed. If we are more frenetic then our dogs will be more nervous.

Try to focus on your energy and attitude when you are on the drug as opposed to when you are not on it. It may be something that you can adjust. Try some calm breathing and relaxation so that your energy is calm and relaxed.

Also, you may want to get a covered pill cutter. They are in the pharmacy section and are just a couple of dollars. This would be much safer and you would not have to worry about your dogs inhaling or ingesting the dust.
