This is strange but I have noticed that every time that I play with my dog peanut, if I lay him on his back, 9 times out of 10 he sneezes. I will turn him over on his back sometimes while he is on my bed and just scratch his stomach and he ends up sneezing several times in a row.

Carling has sneezing fits as well. It is funny and I wish he would cover his nose with his paw at times.
I did have to give him antihistamines in the sumer as I noticed he was more snorty and his snoring at night was pretty bad. I didnt go to the vets as I couldnt afford the bill but a friend of ours took his dog who had the same problem. He was told to give his dog Antihistamines and was charged £60 for the priviallage.
Doggies have allergies to us and can get hay fever. I learn something new every day lol
My dog definitely has allergies. She sneezes all the time. I've tried giving her some allergy medicine for dogs (it looked like benedryl but might have been something else) but it didn't seem to help at all. She bites and licks her paws a lot too which I've also heard is from allergies. I feel so bad for her.
Interesting! Perhaps it has something to do with sensitive hair on the dog...like in a human when you irritate nose or eyebrow hair , it can result in a sneeze.
I do notice that my shitzu will have a fit of sneezes (like 10-15 sneezes in a row), and I am starting to wonder if she has allergies. There does not seem to be a pattern or anything just every once in awhile she starts sneezing and it does not stop for a while but I guess it is nothing to be too alarmed about since it does not happen very often.
