This is a youtube video that has gone viral on the internet. it shows a returning soldier and his totally overjoyed dog running to meet him. The dog jumps into the soldier's arms, and starts hugging and kissing him, and talking to the soldier.
When you listen to this dog, it really sounds like he is saying (in a very "doggy dialect") over and over, "I love you, I love you".
He is at least a very excited and happy dog to see his long lost owner, but I really think that this dog is also trying very hard to talk and tell him that he loves him.
It is very interesting to me that some dogs (and cats, too) seem to try very hard to actually say words to us; while other dogs, just as smart; never even try to talk except in regular dog noises.

The dog does sound like it is trying to talk! Most of the time, our pets are so glad to see us when we get home, they make all kinds of noises. My Sadie is so happy to see me when I get home her whole body shakes and she makes all kinds of little noises. She is just so cute!
