I don't know what's wrong with him but for some reason he has been "extra sensitive" today. He keeps on barking even with the slightest sound. Nothing has changed here as far as I'm concerned. Today he started barking at people talking outside again. There are people talking outside everyday and he's used to hearing people outside already and stopped barking at them long ago. Now, he's barking at them again like a new pup in a new house. Every time I go upstairs he starts barking. I can't just let him bark because it's late and the neighbors will get angry. He seems healthy so what could be the problem?
RE: My Dog Keeps On Barking. He's Driving Me Crazy!
He could be trying to warn you all about something. Do you live in an area that is prone to earthquakes? Perhaps there is a storm front or something coming your way? Or maybe there is something going on in the house, like he smells gas or something. I don't mean to alarm you, but when dogs are persistent like that, it's usually something important. My one dog started freaking out one time, and it turns out that this glass paperweight globe we were using as a door stop had channeled some sunlight on to our carpet and started to cause a small fire. She must have stomped it out and knocked it away with her nose - then she came to warn us.

I already found out the cause of all the barking! There have been floods recently here in the Philippines and apparently the were 2 big rats on our property because we live in a high place. They probably escaped to our place so they won't drown. One was around 7 inches long and the other was 5. They were really scary! We spent all night trying to chase them out! It seems they didn't come back because our dog was quiet for the rest of the night. My husband plans to put some chicken wire below our gate so any rats won't be able to enter next time.

Haha! That would explain things! Hopefully you are able to keep them away so they don't bite your dogs or leave droppings around your place which might get your dogs sick as well. Glad to hear that you found out what caused it, and that it wasn't something more serious.
We had some problems with racoons hanging around our place, and had to make sure we weren't leaving any food or trash outside to attract them. We didn't want them scuffling with our dogs.
