Who is your childhood animal hero?

When I was a kid, I loved a Disney movie called The Cat from Outer Space. For those not familiar with it, it's a fun little movie from the 1970s about an alien cat who ends up stranded on Earth and needs help to repair his ship. He has a special light up collar that helps him communicate with humans (among other things). The cat, Jake (aka Zunar J-5/9 Doric 4-7), was my animal hero. We even ended up naming a cat after him.
