Hello, friends!!

I'm excited to be here. My name is Nick, I'm 33, married, and I've had pets my entire life. Dogs and cats are about it for me, although my wife has had birds in the past.

Right now we have one cat who's pictured in my avatar. He's "Cat Bauer", a 20 lb beast of a reformed feral cat. I have the scars to prove it. I'm very proud of where he's gotten though. He really does have a heart of gold, he just has that side from whatever terrible experiences he had during his first year before the ASPCA found him in the woods.

I'm proud that most evenings now, he just wants to sit on your lap and be pet.
