What's the weirdest thing your cat has brought in?
My cat once brought in a bat. A live, healthy bat. She didn't wound it at all. It was flying around in my room when I was on the computer with my lights off for at least ten minutes. It was only pointed out to me when my sister came in, saw something flying around in the dark, and said, "Maelstrom, there's a bird in your room!" And lo and behold, it was no bird, but a bat.

So what's the weirdest thing your cat has brought in? A bat? A bird? Another cat?

This didn't happen in my home, but in my husband's before we were married. His cat brought in a series of baby rabbits. She must have found a nest and continued to go back to it and get another one and another one. Sadly, it didn't end well for the bunnies. Sad

The weirdest thing my cat dragged into the house was a baby squirrel head, the darn thing put the head at the end of my mother's bed and she was freaking out calling the cat gross. I have to admit that is pretty gross and not very sanitary if you ask me, let alone weird as all heck! And here I thought her bringing lizard parts inside were gross, the squirrel head has to of been the worst of them all. I understand cats are hunters and want to be proud of things so they bring you presents, but I think we could all do without the presents that our cats bring in.

Two of my three cats seem to live to hunt, as a result I have found many half chewed up treasures left on my living room floor. The latest of these treasures seem to be frogs and lizards. I can live with the frogs, however they bring in lizards and let them go so that they can continue to chase and play with them until they have successfully mangled them. I hadn't actually realized that I had a fear of lizards until I had one running for its life throughout my home.

I think my cat was able to dig up a dead frogs bones because I saw a frogs skull in the house one day. At first I thought my cat had eaten the frog but then I noticed that there were remnants of soil around it. Another time my cat brought in another cat's kitten! This wasn't so weird but my cat literally catnapped some other cats baby! Since we did not know where she got the kitten, we couldn't return it so we just decided to adopt it. It could also be that the kitten wasn't catnapped. Of course, it could also be that the kitten was abandoned and my cat just saved it from dying on the streets.
