You moan how no one loves you or understands you and how you don't feel needed. Your precious pettie comes in- nudges, nuzzles, licks and cuddles until you relent that sniff, sniff, okay, your doggie loves you (to the point of death), needs you more than that favourite ball he/she left to cheer you and maybe... yeah, maybe pettie understands you just fine.
Suffering a painful and major fallout with my best human friend found me weeping copiously on the bed. It took my precious pup a few minutes to calm me down, but I did finally get up and realise that 'this' best friend was right here. Forever.
Nothing could ever have made be feel better.
What about you?
Dogs are just wonderful in the fact that they can instantly relieve your stress, worry and even depression in some cases. I have had a dog since I was 7 or 8 years old and I am 23 now, it is the best feeling in the world. I remember once I was having a fight with my boyfriend and my puppy just came in and barked and then she proceeded to lick each of us and the fight deteriorated instantly it was like we were never in a fight, it is amazing.
