Have you ever felt burdened by owning a dog?
There are instances that I don't enjoy cleaning the potty spot or prioritizing my dog's medical bills but it has to be done. There are instances that I feel that steam is flowing out of my ears seeing Peanuts leaving me a pee-mail on my bed, but I've never regretted owning a dog.

Have you ever felt that owning a dog was more of a burden than a joy?

LOL @ pee-mail; I get that when Kotton is angry at me. I could never regret having my girls not even when my living room looks like a tornado hit while I was sleeping (thanks to Kash getting into EVERYTHING) or when I step on bones they have left on every open space of the floor. I love my girls like family, sometimes even more than my family LOL And they care for me just as much as I do for them.

Unfortunately I have seen posts on Craigslist that it "is just too much" for them to deal with the pet they chose

It became very expensive taking out beagle to the vet when she developed cushings disease. However it was frightening because she blew up and got really huge, and we had to put her on quite a bit of medication to help get her back in line. This went on for nearly two years and a lot of trips to the vet.

I'd be more of a wreck if I didn't do anything about it and she passed.
