Professional photos of your dog?
I have seen different offers for photographic portraits of dogs. You can pay for a sitting and get professional photos that are framed. You can also do a sitting with you and your dog. It appears that different companies are marketing towards the animal lover.

Have you ever had a professional photo taken of your dog or you and your dog? Is it something you think you would do? How well would your dog behave for something like this? My dog would be awful, I know it!

RE: Professional photos of your dog?
I feel the same way. I'd like to have professional photos of my dogs, but at the same time my dogs aren't trained very well and would probably misbehave to be completely honest. I mostly just carry around a digital camera and snap pictures of them playing and being cute. While it's nice to have a professional photo, when my dogs pass on, I'd much rather be looking at photos of my dogs swimming, or fighting, or running around.

No, I have never had any professionals take photos of my dogs. In fact I hardly take photos of my dogs. I still remember the photos of my very first dog and every time I see the photos I feel a pain in my chest. Since then I made it a point not to take photos of my dogs.

I wouldn't have anything like this done. I understand why some people do. It's usually when they treat the dogs like children and well, you have professional pictures taken of kids, too, right?

I am happier with the candid shots I take myself, though. Mine would never behave or be comfortable around a photographer anyway.
