The dogs are ready for Summer!
Scout followed me into the garage when I got home from work and spied her kiddie swimming pool. It's put away for the winter months, but as soon as she saw it she started barking and tried to get it down from the stuff it's perched on.

We've had a very mild winter but it's still too early to let her play in the water. She hardly has an "off" button when it comes to the pool (or a pond, or a creek, or a...) so I had to disappoint her some. I'm sure she'll forget about it quickly though- until the next time she sees it!

RE: The dogs are ready for Summer!
I think we are all ready for summer. I used to have a terrier mix that loved to swim. Now I have an AmStaff that loves to play in the water. Ask him if he wants to go "splash" and he lets you know he certainly does. Also used to have a boxer mix that knew the cooling power of water. When walking if someone had sprinklers on he was there! In the house we would find him in the bath tub, waiting for someone to turn on the water.
