My Cats Were Freaking Out Because Our House Was Empty This Morning

There are usually several of us in our house at any given time of the day every day of the week. Our cats will generally lounge around and sleep a lot through the day and generally act aloof. Sometimes they will want petted, but generally they just kind of wander around and do their own thing.

Well today everyone was gone (except for me) and I was in my room by myself working on some stuff with the door shut. I heard all kinds of commotion from them running around all over the place and they acted like they were freaking out. Then they came bolting into my room and wanted to be the center of attention.

I don't think we've ever left them completely home alone yet in the 3+ years we've had them, it was kind of funny to see their demeanor change so much.
