I have a rescue dog !

We have two little dogs that we have had for a very long time. Chipper is my little Yorkie-poo and he is now eleven years old, and I had his mother before him.
Then , a couple of years ago, we got Tootsie, a Blue Heeler mix. She is our family guard dog.
Yesterday, a stray dog showed up in the neighborhood, so I brought him home and am advertising to try and find the owner. So far, no one seems to be mising him, and I think that someone might have just moved off and left him.
The poor little guy has been used to being in the house, and treated well, so I don't know why anyone that took good care of him would then just go off and leave him.
Anyway, we like him, and if I can't find the owners, we will just keep him.
