Unique aquarium decorations?
Does anyone else like really unique aquarium decorations? I have seen a lot of Lego tank designs lately and a lot of them are really cool. This is my new tank for my axolotl:

The plastic is safe so you can build whatever you want to put in your tank. Here's a few other cool lego designs (not mine)

Anyone else have any cool unique ideas like this?

These lego designs in a fish tank are really unique. I never thought of using legos in this manner. How do you keep the legos from floating to the surface, or is that not a problem. Your little white creature is adorable.

Thanks, he's an axolotl. Smile The legos do float. I just siliconed them down to the bottom of the tank glass with aquarium silicone. You have to wait a few days after to let it dry and fully cure before adding water and sand again etc. I was worried about the little Hagrid minifig staying down since he is just attached to a flat lego brick thats siliconed down and he kept falling off it easily, but he's staying attached fine now that it's all in there. Smile

Oh, I love the Super Mario Brother's decorations. I've never seen anything like those before. The decoration I like I saw a few years ago that I would like to have is an oyster that filters as well and bubbles. The most I have ever had in a tank are plants, Ariel and Flounder on a rock, Dory, Nemo and Crush. But I don't know why I like the oyster, but I do. My new favourite now is the Super Mario Brother's decoration, and I want that now too! Haha

I like the little fellow in your avatar, axolotyl, or whatever you called it. It looks just like a water dog except for the color. The water dogs are actually baby salamanders, so they eventually turn into a salamander, just like a tadpole turns into a frog. Does the one you have stay just like it is right now, or is it going to grow up to become some kind of a salamander, or similar creature ?
My ex-husband used to catch the water dogs out of warm ponds in Central Washington, where he grew up at . He used them for fishing bait; which I thought was a terrible thing to do with such cute little guys. Many gas stations and sports stores sold them to fishermen for bait, and apparently, they were great for catching large bass with.

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.
