Pets and Christmas
Did your pets survive Christmas? My two dogs were very calm and well behaved. I think that had a lot to do with the human members of my family keeping Christmas in consideration of my dogs, as well as the human beings of my family. I went over to my parents for Christmas and they fussed over my dogs. We played a game and my brother had Mikey on his lap for most of the time we were playing the game. My mom went with me when I needed to take my dogs for a walk. My parents bought my dogs several small gifts.

My parents considered my dogs as part of our family at Christmas, which I do appreciate. So my dogs had a good time as they were relaxed and enjoyed Christmas.

How was the holidays for your pets?

RE: Pets and Christmas
I think my cat just slept all day - he's and old guy and doesn't do much anymore. My bird came along to the family gathering and spent most of the huge picture window. Once the sun went down and the window seat got a bit too cold for him, he socialized with my parents and my brother. My mom refers to him as her "grand birdie," so he's definitely part of the family. My parents didn't buy him a particular gift, but they sent me a gift certificate to the online bird store where I buy most of his stuff so I can pick something out for him.
