Keeping your pets warm ! !
Another cold winter is on its way, at least for some of us. The Northeast part of the United States is already buried under more than six feet of snow and more is expected. Even here in the South , where I live, the weather has been unseasonably cold, and down into the low 20F's at night.
This means that we have to be extra careful about our pets when they go outside. Chipper and Tootsie are both small and delicate, and are in the house most of the time anyway. When I let them out now, I usually stand right at the door and wait for them to go to the bathroom, and then they are already shivering and ready to be let back inside the house.
Even if you have an outside dog, they need someplace to shelter when it is this kind of cold and snow, and the back porch or even a dog house is just not warm enough in most cases.
Even bringing your outside dog in, to sleep in the garage, or a back room will help. It isnot good to bring them rightinto a warm room, and then throw them back outside in the cold either, so that also needs to be taken into consideration.

A bird doesn't sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.
